After a trip to Thailand in December 2016, I came back to a new year, new me. I am quitting my job and traveling the World solo! People often ask if I was running away from something. When in fact, I wasn’t running away at all. I was running toward something.

When I started traveling I knew I wanted to eventually start something of my own. After a year and a half of globe trotting it was time to put my skills to use. With over five years of digital marketing experience at the time and a passion for helping small to medium sized businesses, marketing and web design was an obvious choice.
Most businesses are so great at their craft, but are so lost when it comes to getting their name out. My objective is to let you sit back, relax, and let me figuratively hold your hand through the process. Let’s make marketing fun and not just a necessary evil.

If we could live anywhere, where would it be?
Marianna: To have summer all year around. Spend 6 months of the year in South Africa and then travel and work remotely anywhere else.
Kirsty: That island Edward took Bella to in the Twilight series lol
Dom: Saint Moritz, it is a magical place
Happi: Gisborne, New Zealand
Ruby: Half the year between Cape Town and the Garden Route and the other half in a new surf spot each year.
Nadhira: Moving to different states across America as it has a special place in my heart.
Myda: A few sun-soaked month in tropical countries like Bali. Then, spend a few months in Europe like Italy, Swiss or Portugal where i’d be surrounded by beautiful parks, scenic mountain views, and endless opportunities to explore nature, all while enjoying the local coffee culture.
Chloe: You’d find me soaking up the beauty of Wilderness, a little coastal gem along South Africa’s Garden Route. And when I’m not home there, I’d be chasing sunshine and salty air alongside my forever bestie, Ruby — she’d be off finding the perfect wave, and I’d be right behind her, finding my perfect beach.
Wale: London, England
McKenna: 8 months in a beach town (Bali or Costa Rica) and the other 4 in Arizona!

Meet The Team!
Hi, I’m Kirsty! I online stalked McKenna at the start of 2020, and she’s been in love with me ever since. Fast forward to today – I’m her right hand (wo)man and our teams ‘big sister. I’m a creative mind, a walking planner, and one of the first faces you’ll see when you come onboard.
When I’m not working, I’m either at the gym, somewhere in the winelands, spending too long at the beach, or lounging on my very comfortable couch (think Netflix and endless IG scrolling). I love easy Sundays, anxiety free Mondays, and a good cup of coffee. DECAF of course – don’t come for me.
Arrova Coast and ‘work’ will never appear in the same sentence. It feels like so much more. We match badass creatives with incredible business owners, and we do it from ‘office’ places that fill our cup (I was serious about spending too long at the beach) 😉
Hey there! I’m Marianna Meyer, and I’m based in Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve got a degree in Marketing and Communications and have dived into both the fashion (even started my own online vintage shop during COVID—crazy times, right?) and digital marketing worlds. I’ve picked up skills in styling, social media, content creation, and graphic design along the way. Right now, I’m working as a graphic designer here at Arrova Coast.
I grew up in a cute coastal town on the Garden Route, and my love for the ocean and sunshine is a huge part of me. When I’m not working (and I feel super lucky that my job lets me enjoy life!), you’ll probably catch me surfing, hiking in the mountains, or off exploring new places!
Hi, I’m Domanique (Dom like in Fast & The Furious). I am a nerd at heart and obsessed with all things digital, AI and tech driven.
I am a digital Swiss-army knife with experience ranging from digital strategy, paid media plans, PPC, execution and analytics.
I have a Masters in Google which I am proud of and can execute any ad unit on any platform.
Nerdiest, coolest thing on my list of accomplishments is I worked for Pokèmon Go for Niantic and HAD to play the game as part of my job.
When I am not working I am either jogging, have a book in my hand or chasing my 4 year old daughter around while she gets up to no good. I enjoy watching DC & Marvel series and movies in the little down time I have and always up for a good laugh.
Hi, I’m Adebowale, and I am your Website Developer. I’m a full-stack (backend-heavy) software engineer. I use JavaScript as my go to programming language to build both front and backend applications.
I have over 8 years of experience building websites and online presence for clients around the world as a freelancer. My go to tools are Node/Express for building APIs (applications programming interfaces), React/Redux as my frontend framework of choice, and of course, HTML and CSS for presentation.
I joined Arrova Coast as a web developer where I work on anything from bug fixes, integrations, website development, to website maintenance and management. On the side, I’m working on Sprawts – a donation platform, which I call the gofundme of Africa.
When I’m not working, I’m somewhere solving some data structure and algorithms challenges.

I’ve been part of the Arrova Coast team since November 2021 (and trust me, once you’re in, there’s no going back). Before that, I was busy writing and launching a natural, oil-based perfume business—which I still run on the side. But honestly, life before AC? Barely worth mentioning.
Content creation is where I thrive—crafting compelling words, designing with intention, and chasing that effortlessly beautiful aesthetic (because who doesn’t love a feed that flows?). I’m passionate about connection through language, both visually and in writing, which makes being a client and content manager a creative outlet I genuinely love.
When I’m not making your socials sing, I’m braving the ice-cold Atlantic, chasing waves, flowing through yoga, strumming my guitar (albeit not very well), or hanging out with the amazing people I’m lucky to have in my life.

Hi, I’m Nadhira from Indonesia, and I’ll be your new Client + Content Manager! I currently live in Bali but am originally from Jakarta, the capital – which makes me a city girl at heart. I graduated with a Communications degree majoring in Public Relations, but my real passion is in all things digital marketing.
I would think of myself as a creative person, tinkering and trying out different elements in the graphic design department where I let my ideas flow, but I’m also a sucker when it comes to data analysis. I enjoy making reports and creating beautiful graphics that make clients go, wow!
Aside from my professional life, I like bringing friends together and playing board games with them once a week. Yes, I’m a board game nerd and no, not the Monopoly-type… I’m very into modern strategy games with lots of thinking involved.
